Synthetic organic green pigments of the Phthalo  family. .Synthetic pigment Phthalo group tone very similar to the green chromium oxides perhaps brighter

Noble green is a bright, intense green, that’s very dark when used thickly. Used as a thin glaze it's very transparent.

Add a cool or mid yellow for bright spring-greens, add a warm yellow for wonderful Sap greens. Makes amazing deep chromatic blacks with its complementary violet

Physical properties: Single-pigment, Inorganic synthetic, Copper-phtalocyanine halogenated (Al4(Si4O10|(OH)8)), Color Index PG 7-74260, Refractive index 1,65, Averaged particle size 0,4 μm, Bulk density 500 Kg/m3,

Phthalo Green used alone does not look “realistic” but mixed with mineral pigments light yellow (Ref: 020) or red earths (Ref: 040) and you will get bright green subtle hues.

(*) All dry, powder-form pigments represent a hazard in that they can be classed as nuisance dusts. It is imperative when handling dry pigments that the user wears appropriate protection. An indication is given of the relative health hazard of each pigment.
